When in London, you always can stay at the grande dames such as The Dorchester or The Connaught, but I'm an intimate charm kind of girl. Enter The Pelham. I've stayed there a few times, and each time I enjoy it even more than the last. The Pelham is the kind of hotel where the staff and the concierge know the guests by their first names. From safekeeping Wimbledon tickets to arranging transportation to Chatsworth, from helping with apartment searches to finding a doctor when one inexplicably breaks out in hives, The Pelham's personalized attention to each guest is unparalleled. The hotel also is perfectly situated as a jumping off point for Chelsea and Knightsbridge shopping, visits to the Natural History Museum and the V&A, and strolls through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. With its delightful and warm sitting rooms and its equally sumptuous bedrooms, the hotel offers a welcome oasis from frenetic London. Each bedroom is decorated differently, making guests feel as though they have their own little home in the heart of London.
I love that headboard so much.
ReplyDeleteI know, right?! I love the fabric so much. I need to learn how to make my own cushioned headboard.
DeleteI'm adding learning to make a cushioned headboard to my list of crafts to attempt in the near future.
DeleteDid you get someone to sign up for that sewing class with you? I'm signing up for a couple of sewing classes here actually -- how to make a laundry bag and an Advent calendar!
