On a recent jaunt to Washington, D.C., I was struck by the city's beauty. Do Washingtonians even know how beautiful their city is? I know, it seems like every day we hear about another scandal or partisan bickering, but when you meet most members of Congress they are each, individually, in Washington, D.C. to serve their constituents, their district, their country. And that spirit emanates from every park, every monument, every government building.
